Try or Die: How to Stay Motivated in Pursuing Your Goals
TRY OR DIE! That’s the message God cornered me with at church today. His response to 2 events–April 2017 and August 2018, which would have been positively life transforming, and among things I have longed for, but at the very last minute, both were seemingly boxed-out-of-my-hands. The consequences linger.
Pimp-slapped-by-life. Perplexed. Needing Banana Chips for Self-Soothing. Jus Cyaan Boddah No More. All familiar companions. Ever ready to drop in and check on me, and have a long stay, if I let them.
God was reminding me today that despite these MAJOR issues and consequences, I cannot stay where I am hit. It is no man’s land. No place for a person who believes only-the-best-is-good-enough not just in serving others but for self.
And I have credible reasons to believe only-the-best-is-good-enough for me. What about you?
Humility is required to accept that there is nothing special about self that attracts troubles, set-backs, traumatic, and life altering events.
Life is filled with trouble.
Yes, it can happen to you.
What you get to choose is WHO or WHAT will make you surrender your VISION of all you know you can do and be, with this blessing of Life and gift of one more day to live it.
Go take your life back or leave your life to…
